APSTA will make house calls for groups of ten or more.

The Department of Homeland Security recommends that neighborhoods and families as well as individuals get American Red Cross Training in CPR, AED, and First Aid.

Brief Summary of Principal Courses:

EMERGENCY HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING

WE SHOULD ALL HAVE*

(Because there's no guaranteed Emergency Response Time, If at all!)

   Traffic...Other Calls...Major Accident/Disaster...Terrorist Attack  


CPR   Quadruples chances of surviving if performed pre-EMS. --NEJM                 ($60 per person)

        Teaches the skills and knowledge to care for someone who:

Three types:  Adult, Child, or Infant                                                

AED                                                                                                 ($60 per person)

Prepares one to add the use of an Automated Defibrillator to cardiac resuscitation efforts.

CPR/AED                                                                                          ($70 per person)        

        Combines CPR and AED training. 

 

First Aid Basics                                                                               ($50 per person)

        Teaches the basic skills for injuries and sudden illnesses:
